Ruhollah Khomeini Quotes

More than Iran’s enemies need artillery, guns, and so forth, they need to spread cultural values that lead to moral corruption …. I recently read in the news that a senior official in an important American political center said “Instead of bombs, send them miniskirts”. He is right. If they arouse unrestrained mixing of men and women, and if they lead youth to behavior to which they are naturally inclined by instincts, there will no longer be any need for artillery and guns against that nation.

Context
The American to whom he referred was a member of one of the many Think Tanks. This illustrates his naïve and ignorant view of American politics as he perceives such people in America are powerful and important. Another creative think tank analysis wanted to airdrop pornographic pictures throughout Iran, claiming that this would cause more dislocation and crisis for the Iranian Theocracy than anything short of a full scale invasion. He was joking, but when one examines the quotations of Khomeini and other Iranian leaders, it might well be a very successful tactic.
