Animals have to be fed to grow and produce meat protein, The feed and the care for the animals requires much more energy per unite of protein than soy beans and other high protein plants. With less energy to grow food, there will be less global warming. In addition, animals—especially cattle—expel large amounts of methane which adds to the global warming problem. Most meat eaters would prefer to use less inconvenient means to reduce greenhouse gasses.
