Rami Said Malek is an American actor. His breakthrough came playing the leading role of a computer hacker in the USA Network television series Mr. Robot (2015–present), for which he won the 2016 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. In 2019, Malek has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama for his performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as other accolades.
